Updates
We’re constantly improving Framer. See the latest features and improvements.
The Webcam component allows you to add a real webcam feed to your designs without using code. You’ll pull from your device’s actual camera to get the feed on your canvas and in your preview—perfect for prototyping video calling apps and devices with video calling. If the component does not work immediately, it may require you to enable your camera permissions first.
Magic Motion, our tool for custom animations and transitions, just got a huge update. This update fixes several bugs that affect Magic Motion use in combination with scrolling views, paging views, and Smart Components. And in addition, you’ll feel an overall improvement in the quality, performance, and reliability of interactions in Framer.
Cursor Chat is a highly requested feature from the community that allows you to communicate in real-time on the canvas, right from your cursor.
To use the feature, simply press the slash (/) key when you're on the canvas and a text input will appear on your cursor.
We have rebuilt the optional code features for technical users in Framer, the main improvements are:
- 10x faster code editor
- NPM support (beta)
- Use Smart Components in code
- Auto Size in code
- Sharing code with a link
